Swords of Steel Podcast Mania!
With the release of Swords of Steel IV right around the corner, authors from the book (along with myself) have recently made some appearances on podcasts to discuss it.
First up, Jo Gamel and I appeared on The Metal Forge Radio. Jo is the bassist and vocalist of Metal of Jupiter, who are set to release their debut EP soon. Her novella “Wraiths of Pongus Maw,” a tale of uncanny nautical horror, is her first story to see print.
Jo and I were also guests on the Monsters, Madness and Magic podcast, where we discussed not only the release of Swords of Steel IV and the depths of the Pongus Maw, but songwriting, mythology, Vran the Chaos-Warped, and more.
Monsters, Madness and Magic followed that up with a very in-depth interview with Matthew Knight, whose story “When the Stars Invert” is the opening tale in Swords of Steel IV. Over the course of two hours Matthew and Justin chat about his bands Eternal Winter, Cauldron Born, and Noir Sensation, Roger Corman films, musical alchemy, sacred geometry, his new story in Swords of Steel IV, misrepresentation of the occult in Hollywood, and more.
That’s a lot of podcast content for you to binge on this weekend! That should whet your appetite for Swords of Steel IV, which will be available Monday, April 7.
