Renegade Swords IV Announcement: "The Honor of a King" by Arthur Gilchrist Brodeur
The final story for Renegade Swords IV is the longest, and possibly the bloodiest, in the book: “The Honor of a King” by Arthur Gilchrist Brodeur. Brodeur, a Harvard graduate, penned dozens of historical adventure tales, many in collaboration with Farnham Bishop. (Two have previously appeared in DMR titles: “Vengeance” in Viking Adventures and “The Devil’s Dagger” in Celtic Adventures.) He had a lifelong interest in Norse sagas and Old English heroic poetry, which served to inspire a number of his stories. “The Honor of a King” is one of these, telling of a violent encounter between Danes and Frisians and the far-reaching consequences of their desire for revenge.
Monday we’ll reveal the cover for Renegade Swords IV, so keep an eye out for it!
Renegade Swords IV will be released in early September. For those of you wishing to catch up on the RS series, Renegade Swords II is currently discounted as part of DMR Books’ summer sale, as is Renegade Swords III.
