I recently posted about Hal Foster and his influential, ground-breaking newspaper series, Prince Valiant. In 1994, Marvel Comics commissioned a new series of tales of Prince Val written by Elaine Lee and illustrated by John Ridgeway. It just so happens that major Hal Foster aficionado, Michael Wm. Kaluta, crafted all four covers for that series. Mike’s seventy-fifth birthday fast approaches.
