July will see the release of Prehistoric Adventures, the second themed anthology of the summer from DMR Books. The cover story is “Dinosaur Destroyer,” the cult classic novella by Arthur Petticolas written in the tradition of Robert E. Howard’s James Allison tales, where a modern man remembers his life in a savage age of the distant past. Speaking of Howard, the man himself will appear in Prehistoric Adventures with “Spear and Fang,” a reprint from the July, 1925 issue of Weird Tales. “Spear and Fang” was Howard’s first professional sale, but despite its historical significance, has not been frequently reprinted.

Prehistoric Adventures will be released in mid-July in trade paperback and digital formats. It follows Planetary Adventures in the DMR Books “adventure trilogy” and precedes Viking Adventures, which will see print in August.
