The next DMR Books release, The Great Die Slow and Other Tales of Dark Adventure, is a collection of stories by Welsh author Harry Piper. Piper’s stories have previously appeared in Heroic Fantasy Quarterly and Swords and Sorcery Magazine, as well as the DMR anthologies The Infernal Bargain and Warlords, Warlocks & Witches. Set in a Dark Age Celtic landscape shrouded in myth and legend, the seven dark, often tragic, tales contained in The Great Die Slow tell stories of ordinary men and women confronted by evil both human and inhuman. Whether priest, knight, farmgirl or sellsword, they will all be forced to take up arms and fight against forces that will test their strength and their sanity to the limit.

The Great Die Slow and Other Tales of Dark Adventure will be released on August 10 in both paperback and digital formats.
